Our Secondary Departments Include

A total of 27 Machines including 12 CNC controlled Drill and Mill Turn Machines which have been created by our in-house Engineering Department.

Our Tool Making and Engineering Support

This non-production department includes a total of 9 Wire EDM’s and numerous other CNC and conventional machines. A state of the art Saacke UW ID CNC Grinding Center for mill and drill tooling as well associated support equipment like the Haimer TD 1002 grinding wheel modular balance system and the Walter Heilicheck Plus for measuring complex macro/micro geometries, keep us vertically integrated for in-house tool manufacturing.

Our Assembly and Inspection Capability

Our assembly capabilities include low volume hand packaging and assembly to high volume machine vision guided robots. We have built many custom automated inspection equipment with the capability of 100% vision, laser and mechanical inspection of Customer product.

Our Subcontracted Capabilities

We utilize and control a variety of high end suppliers for plating, heat treating, Coating, Finish Grinding and other Secondary productions process that are not with in the capabilities at our facility.

Our Research and Development

Our R&D Department is where we build and modify all our production equipment, research new product and customize internal machining process. Our R&D staff include 3 fulltime Engineers and 4 fulltime assistants.

Note: Our equipment undergoes extensive modification in our Research and Development Department to add the latest technology in sensors, custom tooling, machine efficiencies and safety. These modification and improvements are proprietary.

Our Cleaning Capabilities

All product passes through our new state of the art Roll Vapor Degreaser with Ultrasonic capability.

Our Quality Control Capabilities

CMM Capability -Programmable CMM with Video capability, Programmable CMM with Renishaw 5 Axis PH-20.

Vision Systems – Programmable system that uses a high power telecentric lens, which can calculate up to 50 dimensions under 1 sec with SPC and HI/LO dimension capabilities with an accuracy of ±. 0001. Used for large sample random inspection.

Laser Systems– Programmable system that uses a 1.25” wide laser to measure tight tolerance dimensions accurately down to .000040” or 1 micron.

Video Measuring System– Video inspection ranging from 35x to 250x with X and Y, DRO capabilities with an accuracy of ±.00002, with PC connection for downloading photos with high power resolution. Used for inspection that requires high magnification. These Systems are located throughout our facility and are utilized by production and quality personnel to inspect customer product.

Video Microscopes– Up to 125x video microscopes with Led lighting, used for visual inspection of parts and training by line operators and inspectors.

Optical Comparators– Ranging from 10x to 50x with DRO and Edge Detecting Capabilities with an accuracy of ±.0001. Used for Shadow type and surface illumination inspection. 14 Starrett Horizontal 5MP Digital Video comparators with Hiedenhain glass scales for .5um X and Y resolution.

Roundness/ Concentricity/Runout/Position -Can be used for parts up to .750” in diameter for measuring roundness, concentricity, runout and position with and accuracy of ±. 0001.

Surface Finish -Surface finish inspection capabilities include Ra, Rq, RZ, RY, RT, S, Pc, Sm scales. Capabilities include profile measurements on radial surfaces.

Microscopes -Up to 50x microscopes with fiber-optic and LED lighting, used for visual inspection of parts by line operators and inspectors.

Special Gaging/ Fixtures – Special gaging and fixtures can be created in our R&D department for special measuring requirements.

Cylindrical Rings – Ranging in sizes between .084″ and .975″. Used for measuring knurls/ testing bore gages and verifying concentricity.

Hardness Testing – Ranging from 0 to 100 N Scale with 15N, 30N and 45N Capabilities. Used for superficial measurement of material hardness.

Hand Measuring Tools -Ranging between 0-1″ to 0 to 12”, types include: angle, disc, pitch, dial/test, digital, blade, bore, roundness, uni, I.D./O.D., groove, etc.

Threads Ring/Plugs -Metric sizes from M2 x .4 – M30 x 1.5 and American National & Unified Series sizes from 0-80 NF, UNF to 7/8-20 NF, UNF for regular and Pre-Plate requirements. Used to measure Pitch Diameter of manufactured screw threads.

Calibration Masters are maintained, and all Inspection equipment is traceable to N.I.S.T.
